Daddy is away...

Mr Dad is away this week at a school camp.

The kids missed him last night so we phoned him so they could say goodnight. Eric just crumpled into my arms & sobbed like it was the end of the world. Such a sensitive little boy. I wonder if subconsciously he was sobbing for all the nights he missed saying goodnight when D was in hospital?

I miss him too...& I worry about him...praying that he can get through these few days & those senior boys will be well behaved...

no internet

have had no internet for a short time & have been so disappointed...we have come to rely on it so much - for work, for fast information, for leisure, for community, for letter writing...I have been TOTALLY RIPPING MY HAIR OUT FOR TWO WEEKS. D brought home a new one this afternoon...

...very happy tonight...

Happy Easter

Hope you all have a peaceful Easter...

Much love from all here!

P.S. This is not a recent photo...since this was taken the kids have lost teeth, Bon has turned into a shark with lots of big teeth, D has grown a beard & my hair is RED...well, faded red...

I found this simple explanation about Christianity if anyone wants to read more. It's probably not the best one out there, but it sums it all up I think? Check it out this Easter?

Busy

Been oh so busy...I guess life is busy is it not? I've been enjoying my one-day-a-week job at school as the Stage 3 Music Teacher & have spent (probably too much) time planning things for them & getting my head around having my own classes - complete with programs due & assessments etc. After each lesson I am so keen to improve things, learn more, fix things that didn't work, try new things, send positive notes home to parents, fix up the room etc etc. Reading lots of Blogs & sites about education. Thinking about all my weaknesses & wanting to get better...then there is the whole private piano student part of teaching too. I've taken on three students this year also. They are wonderful but are all requiring extra preparation time as one is in Yr 12, one in Yr 10, one sitting for a senior grade. They are wonderful enthusiastic high school students & are a blessing to teach...

The area around my computer/desk at home is absolutely ridicuolous. It is way too messy & it's getting hard to find things. My list of things to do is HUGE & seems to be getting bigger by the day. There is a birthday party to plan for Eric.

I am feeling quite seedy today so am taking things slowly. But as my mind swirls with hundreds of different thoughts & ideas, my tummy is swirling also & that's not such a pleasant sensation...
