My daughter passed her Preliminary Piano Exam with AMEB yesterday...so proud of her. It is so different being in a parents shoes watching your child do the exam. Made me remember Mum & Dad & their many trips to the city with me for exams. She got an A! I think she is so much more talented than shy little Mum ever was. She did all her pieces by MEMORY! She blows me away!!
Today she is running in a state cross country event - so nervous for my little one. She is out there without Mum or Dad...the school took a bus with lots of our kids - top 4 kids in each age group. I'm not expecting her to place at this event, but again, I am so proud of her.
I've been hit by the horrific flu AGAIN this week. Prayed I'd be able to get to the exam yesterday...I'm off to bed I think...but there's so much housework to do. D was looking for clean undies this morning - just to show how behind I am with folding laundry!
Feel very blessed. Precious children & hubby...Zzzzzzzzzzzz...
